Grab The Games: Albino Lullaby: Episode 1

Albino Lullaby is a horror game I have been waiting a long time to play and review so I am really excited it is finally out! So what is the Albino Lullaby and what is has to offer? Albino Lullaby is a horror adventure game that doesn't rely on jump scares or gore. A Lynchian psychological nightmare where you play as yourself.

Escape from a dark and surreal Victorian town that clings to the precipices of underground cliffs. The gamespace dynamically twists and contorts around you in real time, as you unravel an equally twisted narrative. Discover the hidden spaces haunted by 'The Grandchildren' as you uncover clues to understanding just where and what you are. Albino Lullaby is set for initial release on the PC and will be fully VR compatible. The first thing that I really loved in this game is that there is no blood or gore in the game and no jump scares this is really unique if you consider all the latest horror games are based on jump scares and gore so this is a really unique twist.

Another thing I loved are the graphics of the games and those surreal environments of the game. The environments can change constantly even before your eyes making the game even more challenging and amazing at the same time. The voice acting is excellent as well! There is also an enormous background for the characters and it will help you understand better what is happening. The release are also episodic or your can pick up the season pass.

I also loved the puzzles in the game which are not simple and they create anxiety too especially when the grandchildren are trying to get you or are around the corner. Moreover, I must admit that this is one of the smartest horror I have ever played. It requires both a good strategy and a keen eye in order to spot the puzzles and solve them. As far as the negative aspects are concerned the luck of jump scares and the episodic nature of the game can drove off the gamers who have linked horror game to getting scared a lot but I definitely think even this people should play the game

To sum up the game is simple amazing despite the negative facts and it is truly a gem. It is satisfying, really well designed and reimagines the whole horror experience we have got used to in games. In other worlds…this game is an insta-buy!

Verdict: 8.5/10
