Grab The Games: ARK: Survival Evolved
Today I am extremely happy to present you ARK: Survival Evolved. A game that has create a lot of buzzing this year and has a really strong player base even on this early access of development. As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, you must hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements.
Use your cunning and resources to kill or tame & breed the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land, and team up with or prey on hundreds of other players to survive, dominate... and escape! But is the game worth picking up at this stage? Or it is better to wait for full release? We will find out right now! The very first aspect that impressed me is definitely the rich graphics of the game. They are simply breathtaking, there are a lot of different environments and sceneries which you can explore and try to survive. The physics are simply amazing even the water and the sky seem like real. Another positive aspect is the amount of dinos available. There are over 50+ available right now and there are over 100 planned when the game will be fully released. The ecosystem is live as well. You can tame and control the dinos like pets.
You can issue command as well and the large ones can be rides and you can issue commands to them to hunt pray or gather items etc. They will level up as well along with you. Moreover, you can build structures and protect yourself from other players or dinos. You can also plant seeds and find the rarest seeds in the ecosystem. There are so many things to do in this game that one review may seem not enough to analyze in depth the features of this title. There is also a PVP system and a reach level-up system and as you progress you can craft more items and tame more powerful dinos.
Another positive aspect worth mentioning is that you don't have to get a monster PC to play this game. It can run on mostly all modern PCs. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the first thing that I noticed is the lack of a screen tutorial. It would be useful for the new players to have a few instructions on screen to help them get used to the game. Another negative that the community has also mentioned is that the game requires a lot of gridding for resources in order to gain levels and be as competitive as possible.
To sum up, the game despite its early access offers tons of fun and has great potentials as well. The negative aspects didn’t stop me from enjoying this title to the maximum and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
Verdict: 9/10
