You know how much I love music games! A game I really wanted to try was definitely Audiosurf 2 and I am really happy I will present it to you today. So what is Audiosurf 2? It is an indie rhythm game created and distributed by Dylan FItterer. Ride your music in more ways than ever before.

Audiosurf 2 is the music game for your entire music collection, plus online music streaming and Song of the Day. By blending gameplay with music visualization, Audiosurf puts you inside your music in a way nothing else can. Use your own music to create your own experience. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride are determined by the song you choose. First and foremost, I loved in this game's graphics a lot, they look really sharp in all available modes and puzzles and there are a lot of different options so expect this game to be playable in all pcs even to the most old ones.

Another positive aspect of the game is that you can play any song you like and Audiosurf 2 enhances the replay value by adding song of the day which is the selected song of the current day. You can also play your favorite songs from soundcloud as well. There are also online leaderboards that, depending on the song, are updated during your game/song. The title has also an automatic search option which will search all your pc for songs which you can play in the game. Cool right? But there is more! You can now search for your favorite tracks even for the online ones! The power of the workshop is strong with this game as well. Ohh yeah the game has 500 or more player-created mods and skins that will keep you busy for hours.

I also love the new modes as well the ninja mode is focused on dodging blocks while the puzzle mode makes timing essential and it is really improved compared to Audiosurf 1. Furthermore, I loved the visualization in the levels. The colors, the speed, the mood as I said before are determined by the song you choose. However, there are some negative aspects I should mention. First of all, the menu is poorly designed with no music playing which was really the first thing I noticed when I opened the game. The beginning of each song could have been way better instead of the sometimes total black. A tutorial could have been useful because it is not clear for example that you must dodge the spikes.

To sum up, the game is really amazing. Especially for the music fans out there, this is your game right here! Despite the negative aspects everyone will enjoy playing this music driven sensation.
