Grab The Games: Beyond Flesh and Blood

Today, I am really happy to present you a game like no other, and its name? Beyond Flesh and Blood! But what is this game exactly? Is it that good? Stick around and you will find out right now. But first let me tell you a few things about the game. The year is 2281 and piloting military grade mechs is the only way back to Earth, 80 years after a Global War for resources forced decent society to the edge of Earth's atmosphere. Ethan is an engineer from the United Global Remnant: the very last survivors of the human race.

Space is safe, but rumors of aliens, terrorists and a meteorite finally conscript Ethan away from humanity's last orbital home, the UGR Astralis space colony. He must pilot a series of increasingly advanced Tactical Frames alongside the UGR at their base in Manchester, UK. With mind control, there's no death. But the only way to get health back is by absorbing energy spawned by fallen foes, you to fight to survive. Once a frame is destroyed, a new one is dropped in from orbit allowing you to get straight back into the fight. The very first aspect that I loved in this game is definitely the graphics of this great title. They are sharp, unique and sometimes will leave the player breathless with the unique scenery and atmosphere.

Even the training is hard to pass and there is no cover shooting, you will just have to shoot your way through the levels. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there are only a few levels available out of 13 available and it will take you around 3 hours to finish them. Also, the hacking mechanic needs to be more complex enabling the player to enjoy advancing through the levels even more. More mechs would be nice as well.

There is so much detail in Manchester where the game is located and I totally enjoy every aspect of it. The music and the sounds in general are really well-designed and definitely fit the game properly. Moreover, the executions in this game are phenomenal. They are gory, people are being ripped in half, gibs and blood, explosions, fire, lasers and loads more delicious gibs. The game is also hard as well.

To sum up, the game is not bad and it has a long road ahead into being a complete game with a lot of levels and more mechanics that will hopefully be introduced in the future. I have really high hopes for this title.

Verdict: 7/10
