Grab The Games: Blood Bowl 2

Blood Bowl 2 is here! I really can't believe it! If you love American football and the warhammer universe get ready for another amazing season! But what is Blood Bowl 2? I am sure some of you still don't know!

Blood Bowl 2 smashes Warhammer and American football together, in an explosive cocktail of turn-based strategy, humor and brutality, adapted from Games Workshop's famous board game. Blood Bowl 2's new graphics engine and high-flying realization makes for a faithful portrayal of the fury and intensity of classic Blood Bowl matches. The solo game mode will have you lead the famous Reikland Reavers . Former star team of Blood Bowl you are tasked with bringing them back to glory, following a full story campaign supported by the hilarious commentators Jim & Bob from Cabalvision. Each match of the campaign is unique, with unexpected and surprising events constantly renewing the experience! The first aspect that really impressed me compared to the first game of the series is the new graphics and the graphics engine! There are more details, the graphics are really sharp and good looking and the game in general seems more alive than ever!

Furthermore, the soundtrack and the whole sounds used in the game are really amazing and create a really good atmosphere. The animations of all the characters and the crowd are really well-designed as well. The campaign is full of surprises and random events like the referee for example attacking your players and being against you during the whole match! As far as the multiplayer is concerned, it is better than ever. You can create and customize your own team in every way possible and choose from a huge variety of available races.

Moreover, you can buy and sell your players, create your own championship and also gain XP and unlock new powerful moves and skills but beware losses are permanent so you have to plan your strategy carefully! As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there are not enough options for the customization only 3-4 heads to choose from and that's it. Moreover, another negative for me is that there is no upgrade of your players visually when they level up which is a huge negative for me. There should also be more option in graphics in order the game to be able to run in all computers

To sum up, I think this game is really worth picking up and it is a good successor of the previews title I just think it needs minor upgrades in order to be perfect!

Verdict: 8/10
