Grab The Games: Crypt of the NecroDancer
Are ready to shake to the rhythm and kill some monsters at the same time? I know I am ready! Of course I am talking about Crypt of the necrodancer. Crypt of the NecroDancer a 2015 independent video game designed by Brace Yourself Games.
The game takes fundamental elements of a roguelike dungeon exploration game, and adds beat-matching rhythm game set to Danny Baranowsky's soundtrack, to move and control the protagonist character. The first thing that I loved in this game is the unique theme of the game and that you can move/play with awesome music and move to the beat. Another aspect worth mentioning is that the game has a rogue like aspect which means that every time you start a new game everything is different from the enemies to the dungeon but one thing remains the same..the amazing music or not!
Did you know that the game has another amazing feature in which you can import your own music? Just use whatever makes you move your body and play this amazing game. All these above aspects make the game even more worth replaying over and over. Moreover, this title is really challenging and far from easy. You should be able to adapt and also learn how your enemies react and move as well. Another positive is that the game has everything gamers ask. Local co-op , a lot of challenges, different modes, practice mode, new items and upgrades, achievements, trading cards, workshop support also the shopkeeper sings too!
This game is by far one of the best indie games of 2015, easy to pick, challenging, addictive, and unique! It has all the things you want from a game! I also loved the fact that you can unlock new things and characters the more you play the game. As far the negative aspects are concerned, they are really not big issues at all. The game can be too challenging and difficult at some times and this may discourage some people. Another possible negative is that people don't like games that are pixelated.
To sum up, this title is 3rd highest steam game in rating and I really can see why. The title offers a lot of fun, dance and slaying while at the same time it stays true to the roquelike elements. The local co-op and the high replayability value make it an ideal choice for all gamers who want to have fun and discover a really epic game. Totally recommended. DANCE, MOVE, SLAY, REPEAT!
Verdict: 9/10
