This is the sequel to the hit tactical game Door Kickers, and Task Force North presents the best portrayal of modern Close Quarters Combat and tactics in a video game. You take control of special operation units in daring raids to rescue hostages, neutralize threats, and capture terrorists in the fictional country of Nowheraki, located in the Middle East. The game features top-down tactics with real-time gameplay, allowing you to pause at will to think and strategize while the action unfolds. There are no turns, hexes, or action points to manage. 

The game models various deadly threats and technologies, such as suicide bombers, IEDs, and rocket-propelled grenades, while providing you with tools to gain the upper hand, including light machine guns for suppressive fire, night vision goggles for nighttime operations, and wall-breaching charges to create new entry points. The destructible environment enables you to navigate through non-linear levels, allowing any strategy to be viable.

One aspect that impressed me immediately was how the game introduces itself to players.
