Grab The Games: FarSky

The future is in the hands of those who explore... and from all the beauty they discover while crossing perpetually receding frontiers, they develop for nature and for humankind an infinite love.Jacques Yves Cousteau, Oceanographer. This quote fully represents today's game Far Sky. FarSky is developed and created by Far Sky interactive. In this game you take the role of Nathan who got lost in the Ocean after the crash of his submarine. You need to learn how to survive in the depths of the Ocean.

Use the environment to gather resources, build a base to refill your oxygen and manage all your items, craft equipment and weapons to explore and protect yourself in the Ocean depths, create an in-base farm or go fish hunting to feed yourself... Your ultimate goal is to find all the pieces of your submarine, fix it and reach the surface. You can also choose to play in Sandbox mode to enjoy the game freely with a wider map! All maps are randomly generated to immerse you in an unknown world. This game is truly amazing. The first thing that will impress you is that even that the graphics of the game are not that high the amount of detail in this title is really impressive. The underwater movement of the animals and the plans is really satisfying and impressive and gives the player a feeling that he is truly underwater exploring the depths of the ocean.

Moreover another positive aspect of the game is that the mechanics are pretty easy to use and understand making the game even more enjoyable. The game also features base building, base defense, mining, crafting, a hunger system, and combat. All these features can be upgraded and reproduced and can really help you in your journey and your protections in the unfriendly depths of the ocean. Furthermore, the game has a survival and a sandbox mode offering more reasons for the game to be replayed or played under a new perspective! However, there are some negative aspect that I should mention.

There is a lack of depth. With that I mean that the story doesn't affect the game much and I would prefer it to be more present in the game. The only aim in the single player is to gather pieces of your broken submarine and not get eaten and that is all. Moreover, some items are displayed in the game and some others don't which is weird. Also, the game is really short and you can easily finish the single player really quick. The game also lucks a good tutorial that will show you how to do things which would be a great addition to the existing title and will help the players a lot instead of figuring everything by themselves.

To sum it up, I liked the game despite the negative aspects. The game has huge potentials and it is too bad it has been already fully released. With more additions and a few tweaks here and there it would have been truly an unforgettable underwater experience. No that it isn't now but I mean in a larger scale. The game covers the lack of underwater exploration games and offers a great experience for the player.
