Grab The Games: Frostpunk 2

Another day, another review for our fans. Today, I couldn’t be more excited that I have my hands on the title of a successful franchise that is not only now available at a great price but also offers an enjoyable experience from the start.

We will present you how this title holds up against other games of the genre and if it is worth picking it up right now. But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Stick around, and you will find out now. Let’s start by mentioning a few things about the game itself. Frostpunk 2 elevates the city-survival genre to a new level. Take the role of a Steward and lead your city through a cascade of calamities taking place in a postapocalyptic, snowy setting. Build large city districts with their string of endless needs and demands.

Navigate through the conflicting interests of factions that populate your metropolis. As the needs of the city grow and factional power at its core rises, only you can steer the society towards an uncertain future.  The world is overtaken by an ever-present winter, which makes expansion of the city the only way for the survival of mankind. In order to grow, the metropolis needs resources like coal and oil, just like its citizens require food and warmth. In Frostpunk 2, it's your job to tackle this never-ending circle of supply and demand.

To begin with, the very first aspect that impressed me was the way the title introduced itself to the audience, with a great tutorial and starting adventure. The game is really relaxing and smooth and it is pretty easy to get used to! The game has also some really good graphics and a system that is really easy to get used to. The gameplay is driven by exploration and the story is great as well. It offers a lot of hours of gameplay and the soundtrack is good as well. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, I couldn’t find anything that was game-breaking. Everything was running really smoothly and I had a great time while exploring the vast world.

To sum up, the game is definitely enjoyable with a lot of aspects to look ahead. The price tag is ok for what it offers and I can really recommend it to everyone who has played similar titles and to gamers who want a relaxing title.
