Grab The Games: Global Adventures
Today, I am excited that I will review a brand new MMO called Global Adventures. I couldn't be happier not only that we have the opportunity to review it but also that we are going to present why this title is as fresh as it sounds! But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Should you pick it up when available? Stick around, and you will find out now. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.
In Global Adventures, your life gets turned upside down after you join the adventurous Treasure Hunters' Association (THA) and head out to explore the Mayan ruins. But what starts as a treasure hunt quickly turns into something more, as your expeditions reveal bits and pieces of information that could unravel the mysteries of history. During your journey, you will encounter several enemies of the THA – including the Black Flag Gang, Shinobi Cabal (a ninja group that wants to create an undead army), and The Priory (a secret order that seems to have a sinister plan). Face off against a variety of enemies from zombies, Vampires to reincarnations of ancient gods, and much more as you journey across continents!
To begin with, the very first aspect that impressed me is the graphics and in general the fantastic artwork. Even though they are simple, they are sharp and create a tremendous atmosphere for everyone. They remind me of games like Borderlands or other similar titles. There are currently five classes available each one with a different set of abilities and skills to unlock as you progress. As far as the story is concerned, it's not bad but not good either. I would love to see more depth in the story apart from the cut scenes and just killing everyone in your path. The voice over is excellent and the soundtrack as well.
There are currently a lot of things to do in the game. A lot of quests and a big community that is friendly and you can play with them as well in co-op mode. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, I have to mention the pay to win system. The title is developed around a system where sooner or later you will have to spend money on. There are mounts, skins and a VIP system that will give you a considerable edge comparing with the other players that will play without spending any money. The game also needs some bug fixes since there are bugs even on the cinematics.
To sum up, the game is in closed beta state, and hopefully, it will shape better in the future. Despite the negative aspects it was entertaining to play, but to gain more momentum, it needs to hear the feedback of the community and evolve.
