Grab The Games: Man O' War: Corsair

It's time for another great review and a game I was really waiting for to write about since it was announced and of course I am talking about Man O' War: Corsair. But what is this game? Is it worth picking up? Stick around and you will found right now! Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game in general.

Man O' War: Corsair is a video game of high adventure, naval combat and exploration based on the Games Workshop classic Man O' War table top game. You play as a rogue Captain of the Empire or Champion of Chaos, personally navigating your vessel in third person across the Great Western Ocean while plundering enemy ships, visiting ports, trading and making legends of your deeds across the land and sea! Engage in boarding actions, with direct control over your Captain and take the fight to the enemy. Intriguing so far I may add! To begin with, what I loved first in this early access title is definitely the graphics. They are really amazing, sharp, unique and they create an amazing atmosphere for even the most demanding players.

The environments of the title are really detailed and well-designed and with the sounds/soundtrack of the title your adventures has a mesmerizing atmosphere. Furthermore, as you expect the best feature of the title are the naval battles. They are tense, thrilling and they require a tactical approach and of course know when you can win a fight and when to run away from your enemies. Furthermore, the world is really enormous with more than 50 ports to visit and you expect numerous quests to complete. You will also face fearsome monsters like the megalodon and you can also bind them to your will.

Moreover, you can also trade with other captains and ports apart from fighting them. The weather system involves different weathers and circumstances that will make your game even more difficult. There are also a lot of different races as well that you will fight or make them your allies. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, I have only positive aspects to mention but I have some suggestions. It would be good if you could choose the race of your captain and crew and why not have different races in one ship.

To sum up, the game despite its early access state, it is a gem in your library. It has great future ahead of it and I have only good thing to state. I had a really great time playing it and I totally recommend it. It is also bug free which is really important for me.

Verdict: 9/10
