Grab The Games: Nevermind

Nevermind is not one of the classic horror games we have got used to. It is unique, scary and really addictive. But what is Nevermind? No it is not the Nirvana CD we all know. Nevermind is a biofeedback-enhanced horror adventure game that takes you into the dark and surreal world within the subconscious minds of psychological trauma victims. As you explore twisted labyrinths and solve the puzzles of the mind, an (optional) biofeedback sensor will monitor your feelings of fear and anxiety with each passing moment. If you let your fears get the best of you, the game becomes harder.

If you're able to calm yourself in the face of terror, the game will be more forgiving. Nevermind's goal is to create an unforgettable gameplay experience that can help teach you to be more aware of your unique internal responses to stressful situations. If you can learn to control your feelings of stress and anxiety within the disturbing realm of Nevermind, just imagine what you can do when it comes to those inevitable stressful moments in the real world. The first thing I loved in this game is the graphics and the environments of the game. It can be so calm when you first start it, when you go to your office but when you are inside the mind of your patience.

Not everything is happy, not everything is great you must unveil the darkest secret and forgotten memories your patience has and things can get really scary. There is also a lot of depth in the game. There is depth in the story of each patience. It seems like these are true cases. Furthermore, there are a lot of puzzle to solve that will help you cure your patient and reach the truth. I have also to mention that I haven't used any biofeedback sensor to play the game for my review. I think it is really challenging to use these sensors and try to stay calm while experiencing a lot of creepy and sometimes scary stuff that exist in your patient mind.

Moreover, I like how you can personalize the game and enter a lot of your info that are displayed in the game. However, there are some negative aspects that I should mention. The biggest for me is that the game is not scary at all. A few jump scares now and then. I would call it creepy but not scary. I think it would be better if the game adopted not only for those who use biofeedback sensors but also for the regular players as well. Moreover, another negative for me is that it currently has only 2 patients (+1 tutorial level) and the price is a little bit high in my opinion.

To sum it all, despite the negative it is a high recommended game for me with regular updates and some challenging puzzles to solve. The game has huge potentials and after seeing some early builds the devs have reached so far and improved the game in many ways. Give it a go you won't regret it. The biggest enemy is truly the one inside your head and in this game you are the only one who can cure your patients.

Verdict: 7,5/10
