Grab The Games: Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas
We all know Oceanhorn from our mobile stores and we all love it, including me, but in case you didn't know the game is available on steam as well. Is it worth it? Is it just a mobile port? You will find right now in my review. But what is the story behind Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas? You wake up and find a letter from your father. He is gone. The only lead is his old notebook and a mysterious necklace. What happened?
Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas combines captivating storytelling, breathtaking 3D visuals and exciting gameplay into one epic action-adventure experience. In the game you explore the islands of Uncharted Seas, a world filled with many dangers, puzzles and secrets. You must fight monsters, learn to use magic and discover ancient treasures, which will help you on your quest. Use all of your wits and skill to unravel the mysteries of the ancient kingdom of Arcadia and the sea monster, Oceanhorn.
First thing I loved in this game is definitely the graphics. Full of beautiful colors and details the game offers great graphics with a standard 60fps. The environment of the game and the music/soundtrack offer an amazing and soothing experience for players of all ages. The voice-acting of the characters is good as well. The game is large enough as well and offers 15+ hours of gameplay. As far as the map is concerned and the world, it is big enough with a lot of islands to explore. The combat system is also good and simple some people say too simple. There are a lot of times to unlock and you unlock magic spells as well.
Moreover, the game feels like Zelda but without actually copying it and makes it feel like a rip-off. The game also has puzzles that are of a certain difficulty without being really hard and frustrating. However, there are some negative aspects that are worth mentioning. For casual gamers, you will find the game too easy sometimes especially the puzzles. Another negative is that travelling between islands seems amazing at first then it gets a little bit boring because you can't skip it. The story is not that captivating and sometimes it feels like an ios rip off.
To sum up, the game is good in total and I was really happy to see coming to pc. It is a casual game recommended to every gamer of all ages.
