Grab The Games: Party Hard

It's time to Partyyyyyyyyyyy Hardddddd. And after this small introduction let's get back to the game! In Party Hard, you play as someone who is really tired of the neighbors having loud parties. Instead of calling the police, you decide it's a better idea to kill everyone – using your faithful knife and the environment.

The tactical strategy follows a series of killings at parties through-ought the USA. The developers used to work mostly on casual, family-friendly games - until they participated in a game jam, creating the first prototype for Party Hard. TinyBuild backed up the original developers Pinokl Games to create a full version that's coming to Steam on August 25th. Party Hard has semi-procedural environments and focus on unique ways of killing people. In the greatest traditions of sneaking games, your main goal is not to get caught, while silently picking off unsuspecting victims one by one. Dancing and blending in during a suspicious situation is key.

The first thing that amazed me is really the graphics that are retro style and the amazing soundtrack of the game that keeps you dancing and in a constant party mood! Furthermore, I loved the use of traps in the game. You can murder various people in a lot of funny and brutal ways. You can kill a lot of people at once or stab them and then through them from the room or let the sharks eat them etc etc. There are also a lot of random events in the game. For example a plumber may appear and seal all the hatches or swat may come and kill everyone.

Pure mayhemmmmm. I l loved also the fact that you can unlock more characters as you progress in the game and there are a lot of different maps available. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the AI is a little bit weird because if you run when the caps come you can escape jail and if you murder when the police is present no one catches you. Furthermore, after a few levels you know exactly what to do and how to do it to win and there is not much challenge. I would love also more modes to be available for this game and workshop support.

To sum up, the game is incredibly fun and difficult at first but you can easily get used to it! I totally recommend it to everyone. Tiny built managed to surprise us again!

Verdict: 8/10
