Grab The Games: Red Game Without A Great Name

I am back again guys with new and better reviews. This time I am really happy to present you The Red Game without a Great Name and yes this is the full title of the game. First things first, let me properly introduce you this casual and innocent at first sight game.

According to the devs, try to imagine a game simple in its basics, but demanding from the very first level, where everything might kill you. Even the camera and the main protagonist are against you as both of them constantly move forward. You control a mechanical bird that serves as a messenger in a hostile, steam punk world. To get the letter from one cage to another you have to maneuver the bird between all the obstacles. However, you don't directly control the main hero. The bird moves at its own pace, as does the camera.

The trick is that you can only order the bird to teleport from one point to another by clicking on it and dragging to mark its destination. To begin with, the very first think that I loved in this game is that it seems really easy at first, but don't get fooled like me, because the game gets really hard quickly and frustration is QUARANTEED. Furthermore, I loved the simple mechanics of the game. It is just click and drag and that's all! Moreover, the game is full of beautiful graphics and art style dominated by red of course (daaa the title says it all).

There are also 60 levels, more than 180 gears to collect and a really amazing soundtrack that fits the game perfectly. There are also no loading screens between restarts so you are free to retry the levels as many times as you like. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there are not many but they should be mentioned. The first disadvantage of the game is that there are only 60 levels but the replayability of them makes them worth playing but I would still love to see more. Moreover, there is no co-op or controller support, elements I would love to see in feature updates.

To sum up, despite the negative aspects of the game I totally recommend it especially if you love challenging games. This title has a really good price as well and it is fun and you can easily spend hours trying to pass all the levels.

Verdict: 8/10
