Grab The Games: SOMA
Frictional Games is back and this time with a huge anticipated horror title called SOMA. SOMA is a sci-fi horror game from the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It is an unsettling story about identity, consciousness, and what it means to be human. The radio is dead, food is running out, and the machines have started to think they are people.
Underwater facility PATHOS-II has suffered an intolerable isolation and we're going to have to make some tough decisions. What can be done? What makes sense? What is left to fight for? Enter the world of SOMA and face horrors buried deep beneath the ocean waves. Delve through locked terminals and secret documents to uncover the truth behind the chaos. Seek out the last remaining inhabitants and take part in the events that will ultimately shape the fate of the station. But be careful, danger lurks in every corner: corrupted humans, twisted creatures, insane robots, and even an inscrutable omnipresent A.I. You will need to figure out how to deal with each one of them. Just remember there's no fighting back, either you outsmart your enemies or you get ready to run. The first thing that I loved in this game is the graphics and the good quality of the visuals In general from the environments to the character creation everything is full of details and create dark and horror atmosphere.
Moreover, the soundtrack and whole sounds used in the game enhance the overall experience of the player. I also loved the exploration aspects that are combined with the story, a few puzzles and a constant anticipation of what is next for the player and why everything is happening. Moreover, the enemies are well created and there are more than one ways to outsmart them and survive but death is inevitable in some parts of the game. I should also mention that there are twists in every corner and this makes the story and the game more interesting. It is also worth mentioning the psychological aspects in the game.
Our hero is constantly asking himself about his past, why he is like that and he questions his new existence as well. I also like the fact that when you load a game you get reminded where you have left. Also the AI is smarter than the Amnesia game and the whole experience as well. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there were a few bugs here and there like one that didn't let me open a door and I can't to download another save from a community member and sometimes you can get lost easily in the dark places.
To sum, the game is a must buy for all the horror lovers. I totally recommend it and the game is simply amazing, fun and scary as f***. BUY IT NOW!
