Grab The Games: Songbringer
Today, I am really excited and honored to present you Songbringer, a game I fall in love with from the first time I hit new game. What is this game all about? In this title you explore 308 million procedurally-generated worlds. Awaken sleeping evil. Face your fears. Uncover lost technology and create powerful artifacts. Those skilled with the nanosword will crush giants and check galactic war.
You play the role of protagonist and accidental hero, Roq Epimetheos. With a propensity for partying and making music, he cruises the galaxy with his skybot Jib aboard the ship Songbringer, searching for verdant planets absent the presence of galactic police. When Roq finds the nanosword hidden in a cave on Ekzerra, he unwittingly awakens an ancient evil. The sword is pretty fraggin' sweet though. It... hums. To begin with, the first thing I loved in this game are the amazing graphics. It will certainly remind you the Zelda games but at the same time it manages to differ from them offering beautiful and unique worlds to explore.
Furthermore, it offers procedural generated worlds. You choose a 6-letter world seed when beginning a quest. This seed is used to procedurally generate the planet, overworld, secrets and dungeons. Entering the same world seed will always generate the same world. Thus lore and competition can be shared with others. This feature offers almost limitless options and worlds to explore and enhanced the overall replayability of the title.
Moreover, the gameplay is non linear at all and you can move in any direction you desire. There are no experience points and you can uncover powerful artifacts and abilities just by defeating bosses. The game also supports leaderboards, local co-op and permadeath mode. As far as, the negative aspects are concerned, well there aren't any the game is exactly what it promises and I delivers hours of fun I think I love it even on this early stage!
To sum up, the game is a gem and I totally recommend it for everyone especially for the people who love Zelda and games inspired by it!
