Grab The Games: Spoiler Alert

Spoiler alert! Awesome review coming. Who doesn't hate spoilers? I am one of the people that hate when others spoil movies, games, TV shows etc. But fear not! You will definitely going to love this title! Spoiler Alert is a video game that tests your platforming skills in reverse. It's a comedy platformer that you play backwards. When you pick this game up, it has already been beaten. The big bad boss is defeated, the coins are collected and the princess has been rescued. Why, oh why? Unraveling this mystery takes you through the entire game, from the last level to the first. You must uncollect the coins, revive the enemies and avoid nasty time paradoxes. In other words, you must uncomplete the game by playing it backwards. Everything in this game is so familiar, yet so different and new. You have played it a thousand times before, and at the same time, you have never tried anything like it.

Let's start our review by stating that this title has one of the most interesting and unique concepts I have seen so far. The first level is actually the final level of the game and you start everything in reverse but be aware you should do everything exactly as you did it while playing the game normally and avoid time paradoxes in order to achieve a perfect score in the game. Furthermore, I love the classic platformer gameplay which I personally have missed from other so called platformer games.

Another feature of the game I loved is the speed runner mode that definitely extends the game time and all the extra contend and upgrades that are available to you during your playtime. On the other hand there are negative aspects that are really worth mentioning. The game is way too easy, you can finish the whole game with top score in less than 2 hours and each level can be beaten really quickly. Also, the graphics of the game, even that they are hand drawn, they are just ok and not really inspiring in my opinion.

Finally, the game is really fun, addictive and full of great humor and an amazing concept but the negative ones are really important and I would recommend to be considered and improved in the future. The game also is available both on IOS and Android platforms which is more recommended by me to get the game there than on steam.
