Grab The Games: Talent Not Included

Today I am really happy to present you a game I was really looking forward to play called Talent Not Included and yes you read correctly the game is as epic as it sounds. But what is this title exactly? And what it has to offer compared to other platformer games? Let me first introduce you the game properly.

Set in the fantasy land of Notthatmuchfurther, Talent Not Included tells the story of three monsters: Zordok, Derp, and Kevin, all three huge fans of slaughter, bloodbaths, and Shakespeare. One night, as they were bored out of their minds, they decided to put on their own play. Unfortunately, nothing went as planned That's mostly because Zot, a demonic critic hired for the occasion, chose three mediocre actors with strong personalities, hoping to sow hell on stage for his own and the public's amusement. Break a leg! As you will be playing these actors in hopes of making a nice profit out of your marvelous performance! Come on! Show's this way!

The title features some really impressive scenery, full of details and the game is well optimized so it will play in most PCs. I also love the depth in every level and that it can constantly change like you are actually in a play and there is constantly a new act. An amazing thought by the devs. Moreover, the soundtrack of the game is amazing and fits its play really well. If these positive aspects were not enough, it has an excellent humor and you should really pay attention to the amazing dialogues that give you a great depth of what Talent Not Included is all about.

As far as the negative aspects are concerned, at first I should mention that the experience is really simplified since you will use, especially in combat, 2 keys only and I feel that it should offer a more complex experience. Moreover, I would love the possibility that you would be able to use all characters in all acts and be able to choose prior to the start of the game. Last but not least, the game has local co-op but it would be more effective and appealing to have online functionalities as well because some people may find hard the keyboard button settings.

To sum up, the game is not bad at all, it has its good moments but sometimes the negative aspects are more than the positive ones in this title. I recommend it picking it up during a sale but I would say again that the game is really enjoyable.

Verdict: 7,5 /10
