The Magic Circle is the dark comedic adventures you always wanted in your gaming life! But let's see first what The Magic Circle is all about! In this indie game you are the protagonist of an unfinished 1st person fantasy game, trapped in 'development hell'. The designers (played by James Urbaniak, Ashly Burch, and Karen Dyer) are god-like, but so indecisive that they've given you no powers whatsoever.

With the help of a mysterious disembodied voice (Stephen Russell) you must seize the tools of game development from these "gods" in order to explore and master the world, uncovering more of the darkly comic story as you go. Rather than traditional puzzles with a single solution, the incomplete state of each environment is a question that you answer in your own way. By trapping the designers' creations, stealing their behaviors, and re-mixing them to your own purposes - you will either ship the game from the inside ... or cancel it.

The first thing that I loved is definitely the graphics and the unique art style. The game is like hand drawn while the monsters and you are full of colors and life. A really unique art style in my opinion. The voice acting is really amazing as well and enhanced the whole experience of the player and keeps him as well interested in moving on and explore more. The story also is really fascinating, unique and it is really good that you can leave the creation of a game from the inside or you can destroy it from the inside it is up to you. The humor also is the strongest aspect of the game. You can even see it from the game trailer.

This game is a satire of the game industry and the game creation process in general. I should also not forget to mention that the mechanics of the game are really unique and amazing. You can simply edit all the monsters or items in this game. You can make a crawler fly or add him special abilities like fire burst and make him your pet. It is up to you to decide and be creative! The game is really big and promises to keep you busy or hours with a really good difficulty if I may add! As far as the negative aspects are concerned, there are none really NONE. Hmm if I had to mention one that would be the difficulty...Sometimes you will just wonder around not knowing what to do!

To sum up, I really love this game and as I mentioned before it really gives a unique perspective of the game industry through really good humor and surprises the player with its unique store and mechanics!
