Grab The Games: This War of Mine: Stories - Father's Promise

Today I am really happy to present you a DLC that I was really thrilled to get my hands on called The Father's Promise and it is for one of my favorite games This War of Mine. Of course you know about it and about the available season pass; but what is this DLC and this new installment, to the already amazing game?

Is it worth the hype? Should you pick it up ASAP or when on sale? Stick around and you will find out now. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the title itself. Father's Promise DLC is an original tale set in the world of This War of Mine. It tells a story of family's struggle to preserve the last pieces of humanity in times of despair and cruelty. Become Adam - a father trying to save his daughter from the horrors of war and leave the besieged city. Follow their steps and discover a story of love, hate and sacrifice - the emotions we all share in the darkest of days.

To begin with, as you would expect, you will find the sketchy graphics you already loved in the main. The graphics of the game are like they are drown by hand with a pencil which in my opinion creates a really unique atmosphere for all kinds of players. The whole experience is enhanced by the new mechanics that are introduced. Since this DLC and the whole season is story driven with a new clue system you will appreciate and admire more the levels and the world of This War of Mine.

Moreover, you will fill connected more to the characters of the title since the game is now focused on one character. Another aspect worth mentioning is the fact that, with this DLC you will literally be in an emotional roller coaster since the strong dialogues and the story will keep you on the hook for hours. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the only thing I could mention is the fact that it is only a few hours long but this element is balanced by its low price.

To sum up, after playing the DLC for some time, I found amazing, captivating and really worth playing. It's full of plot twists and loved every aspect of it despite the negative elements. I can't find a reason why not to buy it.
