Grab The Games: Tower 57

When I got my hands into this game, at first, I couldn't believe that what my friends told me was true. I told them nah you are exaggerating. However, after playing only a few hours, I couldn't be happier not only that we have the opportunity to review it but also that we are going to present why this title is unique! But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Should you pick it up when available? Stick around and you will find out now. Let's start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.

In a dystopian, diesel punk world, where Megatowers are the only enclaves of civilization, a group of extraordinary individuals is sent to infiltrate the reclusive Tower 57. Their skills, clips' capacity & the ability to cooperate will decide on their fate. Tower 57 is a TOP-DOWN TWIN STICK SHOOTER with 16-bit inspired pixel art, destructible environments and heavy focus on CO-OP. It is also a modern take on what made AMIGA games so great back in the days. To begin with, the very first aspect that really surprised me is the graphics and in general the art work of the title.

They are old school, unique and create an amazing atmosphere for even the most demanding players. The world is really well created full of details and an amazing soundtrack as well. It is really stylish and the story is captivating full of surprises along the way. As far as the gameplay is concerned, it offers a really fast action packed adventure with numerous enemies, each one different from the other with a set of abilities and different ways to be killed.

The roster is also amazing and the support of the local co-op adds a great value to the already amazing game. Get ready to spend a lot of hours with your friends. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, the main issue of the title is that the challenge that the game offers is too short. Meaning that, the bosses can be easily defeated, especially when you have a lot of items upgraded.

To sum up, the game is really amazing despite the negative aspects and is definitely worth picking it up. I would suggest picking it up ASAP. It has huge a great replay value and loved the co-op as well.
