Grab The Games: Towers of Aghasba
Another day, another review for our fans. Today, I couldn’t be more excited that I have my hands on an amazing game that is not only available right now on early access but it also offers a really fun experience from the start. We will present you with how this title holds up against other similar games and if it is worth picking up right now. But what is this game? Is it worth the hype? Stick around, and you will find out now. Let’s start by mentioning a few things about the game itself.
Decades after the Shimu people were forced to flee their homeland due to the invasion of a mysterious force known as the Withered, the Shimu have returned to reclaim their rightful home: the fantastical island of AGHASBA. As a junior architect, it’s your job to rebuild the villages of your once-mighty civilization as well as nurse Aghasba’s once-thriving ecosystems back to life. Traverse varied terrain, scale colossal mountains, and gaze out upon jaw-dropping vistas, all brought to life in a vibrant, high-fidelity art style. Befriend strange and memorable creatures, learn the storied history of the Shimu people, and uncover the dark origins of the Withered. Build sprawling settlements and watch them come alive as they’re inhabited by members of the Shimu tribe. Lose yourself in a rich creative sandbox as you decorate and construct your villages in a way that’s uniquely you.
Restore life to a devastated land by nurturing the growth of beautifully bizarre ecosystems. Grow plant life, attract & feed animals, and work with the gods of Aghasba to revitalize the island. Much of Aghasba is still infested with the Withered, a dark force that absorbs the life from all it touches. Craft weapons, armor, and elixirs before venturing into the Withered Lands and battle bloodthirsty Withered monsters, gradually ridding the island of the Withered plague. Once you build your villages and grow your ecosystems how you want, it’s time to show them off! Invite up to 3 friends to explore your island, collect and trade items, plant ecosystems, and get cozy.
To begin with, the very first aspect that impressed me was the way the title introduced itself to the audience, with a great tutorial and starting adventure. The game is really fun and it is pretty easy to get used to as well! The game has also some really good graphics and a system that is really easy to get used to. The game has also some great future ahead of it with a giant map to explore! The whole atmosphere is amazing! Unfortunately, there are some negative aspects that I should definitely mention. The game needs a lot of polishing to eliminate bugs and optimize the experience for all gamers. Moreover, I would love to see some customization for the character and an even smoother introduction to the title.
To sum up, the game is ok so far and we will definitely wait to see how it will be shaped in the future. The price tag is ok for what it offers and I can recommend it but after a few tweaks.
