Grab The Games: Transformers: Devastation

The TRANSFORMERS are back, and this time they're in the hands of acclaimed developer Platinum Games, who have combined their over-the-top brawler action with comic book inspired art to create a TRANSFORMERS game like no other. Do I need to say more to get your attention? I will add a few more things to the mix old school art style, a true fighting game and the best voice over you can get! But let's start from the beginning!

The very first aspect that I am sure will impress you is the smart mechanics of the game during battle. It is a true fighting game with many twists and boss battles. There are a lot of weapons to choose from and gain more as you progress through the game. You can level up your character and his stats through the fighting system in the title. You can choose from 5 autobots to play in the game and I loved the fact that in the first chapter you can play with a lot of different characters. Another aspect worth mentioning is the nostalgia this game creates with the voice actors from the classic TV show, the graphics and the music are in total harmony with that old school style this game brings.

Moreover, I also loved that there are a lot of different stages/environments in the game from open world cities to corridors and room everything is there and it will keep you satisfied. There are also, a lot of different missions during one chapter and it may take you up to 2 hours to finish all of them in the same chapter. Furthermore, the story is really satisfying with twists and of course our number 1 enemy megatron! The game also runs great in most PCs!

As far as the negative aspects are concerned the game has the same scenery in half of his game. Another negative for me is that the pod where you can customize your weaponry can be found once in every game. I wish it was implemented so you can change your weaponry anytime you want. Another negative that I should mention is that the game is really short and only single player.

To sum up, the game is overall great and it brings all the nostalgia from the 80-90s show. It is a good fighting game and the rock music is amazing! I would recommend buying the game on sale due to the negative aspects I mentioned before.
