Grab The Games: Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power

Trine one of my favorite co-op (and not only) games is back. And it looks damn good and beautiful as hell! So what is T3? Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is a fairy tale journey which takes you on a quest with three heroes: Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief. This tale of a grand adventure as well as the additional challenge levels provide true tests to the three heroes' skills in combat and of solving puzzles in the most creative ways.

Playable either in single player, and with friends online or in local co-op. Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief have slowly come to the conclusion that having their lives commandeered by a powerful magical artifact is not a desirable state of existence on a permanent basis. The heroes try to return their extraordinary gifts to the Artifact called Trine, and so they meddle with powers beyond their understanding. Trine shatters. With a literally heartless ancient sorcerer on the loose, and only a broken artifact to guide them, the heroes must try and repair the damage they've caused... or the damage that might yet be done. The first thing that I am sure everyone will notice is that the game looks really amazing. The environments and the visuals are so breathtaking, full of small details and you really enjoy every second playing in such landscapes.

The 3D features in the game have really enhanced and improved the overall experience especially if you have played the previous games you will really enjoy this addition. Furthermore, another positive aspect is definitely the music. It is really one of the strong aspects of the game and as in the previous titles it the devs have added some really good music. The game is also really challenging with a few puzzles and from time to time you should find on your own the way to move on to the next levels. I also loved how you can use all the characters and switch from character 1 to character 2 quickly and that every hero has its use in every level so in order to move on eventually you have to use all of them.

The story of the game is also really good and I love that in the first stages there is a really smooth transition and introduction of all the available characters and that players can learn their abilities easy and quick. The levels are enormous as well. However, there are some negative aspects due to the early access of the title. Despite the 3 D environments the characters aim still 2D style and it is really glitchy and hard sometimes to aim. Moreover, naturally there are some bugs in the game which I hope they will be fixed in the next updates! (all of the above fixed with the latest update! ) Also, more content and levels should be added.

To sum up, despite the negative aspects I totally recommend the game. While moving in the same direction as the previous titles and have evolved a lot both visually and in terms of gameplay. If you are a fun of the Trine Franchise you will be amazed. If you haven't played any Trine game then this is the best game to start your journey! Playing with friends totally recommended!
