Who doesn't love chess games? Everyone does. Today's game is all about chess but with a twist! Let me introduce you to Urja. Urja is fun, fast paced and challenging. This puzzling first person shooter will transport you into 12 beautiful worlds where you will try to strike the balance between stealth and tactical strategy, to reach the top of the global leaderboards and take part in community competitions for real life prizes! The objective is simple, destroy all the entities as fast as you can. There are many different ways to approach each world and with intuitive AI every game will be different. I promise you Urja is a game you haven't played before.

You start the game as a pawn, a small pawn trying to take over the other chess pieces the Queen, the Knight the Bishop! But don't let this simple goal fool you! It is way more difficult that you will ever imagine! Urja is a FPS don't let the chess disguise fool you because it is a pure FPS game. Something that I loved in this game is that you can drain the energy of your opponents and then take their place, for example the pawn (you) if it uses stealth and power wisely can take over the bishop and act as a bishop, then the Queen, then the King etc. until you are the only 1 left in the chess board!

Another aspect that simple amazes me is the variety of the stages there are in the game and the beautiful design that accompany each level! Moreover, there is always more than one ways to win the game you can drain the energy of all the pawns or go straight for the King. It is up to you. Your game, your strategy you decide! Another thing I also loved is that the AI of every game is different and each time you start a new game nothing is the same! As a result you should always adopt your strategy and plan your next move!

There aren't a lot negative aspects about the game, but if I had to mention one I would say that sometimes the game is way too difficult to win and you can die easily. Another thing that could be improved is when you win the game nothing happens, I would like to see some stats and my performance in the whole game and maybe a diagram with my moves!

To sum up, the game is simply amazing, addictive and a gem in your steam library! If you are a chess player or if you simply like a good FPS game with some great strategic and stealth aspects Urja is your game. Give this game a chance! You will not regret it!
