Grab The Games: Windward

Today I am really happy to present you WindWard. One of the most relaxing and soothing games I have recently played. So let's start quickly and tell you what this game is all about. Windward is an indie adventure/exploration game published and created by Tasharen Entertainment. This title was designed from the start to be a fully procedural co-op game; Windward can be played both by yourself and with friends.

Start by generating a procedural world that will be unique to you, then sail forward fighting pirates, trading with towns, doing quests or simply exploring -- it's up to you how you want to play. To begin with, there are so many aspects I loved about this game and I really don't know from where to start! The first thing that really impressed me is definitely the graphics of the game and the sea animation. The whole atmosphere created in the game is really peaceful, calming but full of adventure at the same time. The level design is amazing and the map where you play is procedural generated so none of your game play will be the same.

Another aspect I loved in this game is that you can find resources at sea or by defeating your enemies and use them to upgrade your ship or if you have enough credits you can buy a new ship. There are also a lot of quests in the game that will keep you busy for ours. It is really impressive also that as you take up consignments with towns and fulfills their production shortages, the towns will grow, offering more quests, more resources and better items. As the towns continue to grow they will offer you more choices to defend them, new quests and more rewards. Another aspect worth mentioning is that as you get further away from your ship the game gets more difficult but the rewards are greater.

Something that it is really impressive is definitely the AI which has the same abilities as the player and you should expect a good fight. Your lucky because there are other ships as well that will aid you in your fight if they are near the action! The multiplayer is the best part of the game since you can do all the above aspects with your friends. As far as the negative aspects are concerned the economy system of the game is way too simple. I would love if it was more complex. Also, some people would like more action in the game, maybe more enemies looking for you as you defeat more of them. The hints are rare to be helpful. I would love more on the spot advices or a good tutorial.

To sum up, the game is really good, soothing and relaxing with great action aspects. The multiplayer is really worth checking out. I really recommend the game beside the negative aspects.
