Grab The Games: Woven
Today I am really happy to present you a game I was really looking forward to play called Woven and yes you read correctly the game is as epic as it sounds. But what is this title exactly? And what it has to offer compared to other puzzle games? Let me first introduce you the game properly. Woven is a puzzle adventure game in which you explore a knitted world where stuffed animals live. As a player you continuously customize your character by mixing different body parts to solve puzzles and bravely confront the dangers that lurk beneath the soft surface.
In a world consisting solely out of wool, cotton and fabrics, you control a mysterious little metal robot named Glitch and meet Stuffy, a stuffed animal in the shape of an elephant. Together you set out to unravel the mystery of Glitch's origin and discover things both amazing and terrifying. A game about friendship, adventure and creativity. Before I start my initial preview and thought I should mention that they are based on the pre-alpha demo that it is available right now. To begin with, the title features some really impressive scenery, full of details and the game is well optimized so it will play in most PCs as far as I can tell so far. The knitted world is simply breathtaking and eye-catching as well. Woven features a world that will awake all your childhood dreams and memories because it fills like you are inside a dream with all your favorite toys.
A goal that I am sure the devs wanted to achieve for the players. Moreover, the soundtrack of the game is amazing and fits its adventure of stuffy really well. The ambient sounds really create an amazing atmosphere for the even the most demanding gamers. The narrator is also a good addition to the game and you can discover the amazing storyline all told through rhymes. Furthermore, you can customize Stuffy and not simple for your own amusement. Through customization you will be able to overcome all obstacles in your way, look awesome and solve puzzles at the same time.
I should also not forget to mention the fact that there are lots of different animals, each with their own skill set and abilities that will aid you in the discovery of this amazing open-world made of wool and cotton. The puzzles can also be solved in various ways so be creative. As far as the negative aspects in this pre-alpha demo, I couldn't find anything to mention. It is really well-polished even for a demo and it is honestly fun to play.
To sum up, the game is really amazing and is definitely worth picking it up and supporting its Kickstarter campaign. It definitely lives up to its potential and it can satisfy even the most demanding player. If you wanted to support one game this year then this is one! Fun and definitely for all ages to play!
