Grab The Games: Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered

Guilt is a chilling feeling guilt can make you do things that normally you won't, it makes you desperate and unable to sleep at night. Maybe that is how Lucas Kane felt when he realized that he had stabbed a man to death in the restroom of Doc's Diner? The game I present you today is Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered. I am sure everyone has played the game when it first got released in 2005, Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in North America) was a breakthrough in interactive narrative, teetering between the worlds of cinema and gaming while also embracing them, carving its own unique genre in the entertainment landscape. This newly remastered edition features updated graphics, full controller support AND is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game. So now you know a few things about the game and let's start our review.

First and foremost, I loved in the game the drama, the tense and the horror aspects. The way the game is set and makes you feel like you are part of it and you really want to know what will happen next? Will the police solve the crime? Will I find out why I killed that man? Furthermore, another thing I love is definitely that the character is not 1 in this game you can take control of the narrative through four different playable characters, each illuminating a different perspective of the story giving you a better understanding of what is happening and why! Moreover, I think everyone will agree that the main aspect that made this title famous is the choices the title offers the player. Fahrenheit is the only that gives the player real freedom and the choices you make do matter and you are going to decide the ending of this adventure and to be honest this aspect is what makes the game worth replaying.

Different choices means different outcomes. The Quick Time Events are definitely another plus of the game and forces the player to hang on the edge of his sit. The game definitely feels like a movie and a game at the same time. This is truly amazing. The player feels like he is inside a movie and he is responsible for the fate of the characters. Who would expect something like that in a 2005 game? The price is definitely a pros because it is only 9$ so nothing can go wrong even if you don't like the game. Another aspect worth mentioning is definitely the live graphic comparison. You can press F9 and check the old graphics as well. However, there are some negative issues that I would like to state.

The game crashes randomly for time to time with no reason. Furthermore, the controls can be frustrating but I bet you can all get used to them with a little bit of practice. Also, I wish that we would see some next gen graphics of this game but HD is also good I can't complain. So what the Remastered version includes? High-definition Graphics all of the in-game textures have been meticulously recreated in HD for desktop, controller Support Support for Sony and Microsoft controllers for desktop platforms, Live Graphics Comparison Players can switch between the updated visuals and the original art assets by pressing F9 and of course Unlike the original North American release, Remastered contains all of the game's original scenes, uncensored and uncut.

To sum it all up, I totally recommend the game to everyone who loves good storyline, choice-based aspects, drama and an adventure that will make you feel that you are part in a movie and that the faith of the characters is actually in your hands. Buy it with eyes closed and really for 9$ what can go wrong? Fahrenheit never gets old, it is a classic masterpiece.
